2018 French Open Finalist Eri Hozumi Signs with Yonex

11 January 2019

TOKYO, Japan – Last year’s French Open Women’s Doubles finalist Eri Hozumi (JPN), officially signs with Yonex over the offseason.

“I started using the Yonex VCORE 100 by recommendation of my coach” Hozumi described. “I liked it very much after only hitting 2-3 balls. The high trajectory shots were easy to hit, and I could get a lot of spin with the racquet.”

Since debuting the 2019 season, her pairing with Alicia Rosolska (POL) at the Sydney International has them currently battling their way into the semi-finals. Following Sydney, she’ll try her hand in Melbourne at the Australian Open kicking off January 14th.
