Introducing the NEW ARCSABER Z-SLASH
October / November 2009
Introducing the NEW ARCSABER Z-SLASH. Designed with the power player in mind,
the Z-SLASH incorporates multiple technologies to help players with an aggressive
play-style achieve the fastest swing speeds possible.
Used by World No. 5 Taufik Hidayat, the ARCSABER Z-SLASH made its debut last
week at the Yonex Open Japan. "This racquet is great; it provides greater
smash speeds. It will be much better in the future," Taufik said.
HYBRID FRAME = 10% Greater Swing Speed
Cupstack Carbon Nanotubes + High Tensile Graphite
The top of the ARCSABER Z-SLASH frame consists of High Tensile Graphite, while
the frame sides are constructed of high strength, extremely elastic CS Carbon
Nanotubes. These two materials in the frame combine to form the Hybrid Frame,
which provides unmatched energy transfer, increased repulsion and flexibility
for greater racquet speed.
NEW GENERATION SLIMBODY = 29% Less Air Resistance and 10% Greater Shuttle
Speed
Compact Frame + Super Slim Long Shaft
Compared to conventional racquet designs, the Compact Frame of the ARCSABER
Z-SLASH minimizes air resistance, allowing for increased swing speed and powerful
smashes.
To further combat air resistance, the super-slim long shaft of the Z-SLASH
features Super HMG and Ultra PE Fiber. By utilizing these two materials, Yonex
engineers were able to produce the thinnest shaft the badminton industry has
ever seen. Super HMG and Ultra PEF create a resilient shaft that increases power,
speed and energy transfer to the shuttle.
Control Support Cap
Yonex engineers have designed the new octahedron-shaped Control Support Cap
to provide increased thumb maneuverability and less air resistance.
