25 μ (0.025 mm) micro-convex forged ridges, which sit on the face between each of the grooves, grip the ball surface, greatly improving spin on the ball. Even when wet, the convex ridges prevent water from interfering with direct contact between the club face and ball, so stable, high spin shots can be hit regardless of weather.
