    A near rainout on Wednesday could not dampen the momentum of Team Yonex in the second round of the US Open. With 75 matches being played across the grounds at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, new faces prevailed and past champions cruised. World No. 1 Naomi Osaka (JPN) stopped Magda Linette’s win streak at nine with a straight-set victory. After winning the first set, Osaka found herself down 0-3, but won 21 of 24 points during a second-set stretch to escape.
